About the foundation
What we do
Alamida Foundation raises support for Masjid Starah Kyengera and the school, workshop and marketplace that have grown around it. We share every project’s goal and progress openly.
Imam Ali Abdul Rahman Mukasa
Imam Ali leads the foundation. In the Bay Area he teaches across several masajid and serves families through nikah, janazah and classes.

Gifts to a project are used for that project. General gifts go where they are needed most. Zakat is kept in a separate restricted fund and never used for construction.
