The walls of Masjid Starah stand and the congregation already prays inside, but rain still reaches the prayer hall. At the same time, more children join the masjid’s program each year and need somewhere to sleep. Your gift builds a second floor as their dormitory, then the roof over the whole masjid.

  1. The July rains reach the prayer hall again

    Water came into the prayer hall again during the July rains. Closing the roof over the second floor will end this.

  2. Columns for the second floor are up

    The columns that will carry the second floor and the roof are complete.

  3. Materials delivered for the second floor

    Blocks, sand and steel for the second floor arrived on site and the builders began work.
